Disassembling Items from the Grand Exchange
You can obtain direct components by disassembling items bought from the Grand Exchange. Because of the Grand Exchange trade limitation, this method of getting items for direct components is unavailable for Ironman. Do note that these items have a buying limit on the Grand Exchange.

- Elder rune pickaxe + 5 (most expensive, but yields you most components)

Disassembling Items from NPC Shops
You can obtain direct components by disassembling items bought from various NPC shops across Gielinor. If you’re an Ironman, you can use this method as one of the ways of getting direct components.
- Noose wand from Aleck’s Hunter Emporium. This shop is located in Yanille.
- Noose wand from Irwinsson’s Hunter Supplies. You can find this shop in the southwest of the Anachronia Base Camp.
- Noose wand from Nardah Hunter Shop. You can find this shop in Nardah, located northeast of the Nardah bank.
- Spears, hastae, and battleaxes from Warriors’ Guild Armoury. You can find this shop on the second floor of the Warriors’ Guild. You must have level 99 in either Attack or Strength to access the Warriors’ Guild. Spears and hastae also give you crafted parts.
- Pickaxes and battleaxes from Bob’s Brilliant Axes, located southeast of the Lumbridge Castle. Pickaxes and battleaxes also give head parts.
- Pickaxes from Nurmof’s Pickaxe Shop. You can find this shop in the northern part of the Dwarven Mines.
- Pickaxes from Pickaxe-Is-Mine. You can find this shop in the eastern part of Keldagrim.
